Executive Sous Chef
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a 5 star+ hotel, cruise ship or high profile restaurant performing the functions of a similar position
- Formal degree in International culinary institution.
- Certification from accredited advanced food safety program. Extensive knowledge in VSP preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
- Extensive knowledge of public health and sanitation regulations.
- Effective planning, problem-solving, and implementation abilities.
- Ability to execute on food promotions that will increase guest cruising experience.
- Must maintain physical fitness to perform tasks associated with job
- Ability to effectively read, write and speak English.
- English Marlin test at minimal score of 80%.
- Preferred: Knowledge of cruise ship catering operations.
