Executive Sous Chef


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a 5 star+ hotel, cruise ship or high profile restaurant performing the functions of a similar position
  • Formal degree in International culinary institution.
  • Certification from accredited advanced food safety program. Extensive knowledge in VSP preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation.
  • Extensive knowledge of public health and sanitation regulations.
  • Effective planning, problem-solving, and implementation abilities.
  • Ability to execute on food promotions that will increase guest cruising experience.
  • Must maintain physical fitness to perform tasks associated with job
  • Ability to effectively read, write and speak English.
  • English Marlin test at minimal score of 80%.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of cruise ship catering operations.
